I am thinking maybe we can find some common ground in the middle.


AP - "Sea creatures flee oil spill, gather near shore"

You want to know why I swim...because I want to share the connection I feel with the ocean. Don't get me wrong, BP should PAY! However, blood money from BP will help the way pain meds help cancer patients. Unless something is done in pursuit of a cure you are just buying some comfort before the end.

After logging a few miles in the bay yesterday, I was standing on the deck overlooking the Ocean City 17th Street lagoon when boater motored by.  I watched dumbfounded as the wife took one last puff of her cigarette before tossing the butt overboard.

How do we reach those people?  I fear there are far more of them than there are of us.
